Vigneto Due Santi has its roots in Bassano del Grappa, one of the most beautiful and pleasant towns in the Veneto region, where the landscape is dominated by the peak of Mount Grappa and the Palladian wooden bridge spanning the Brenta river, uniting the historic city centre with the countryside. On the eastern side of this region is the terroir called DOC Breganze, a land of noble reds and dessert wines.
The territory is protected on the north by calcium rock formations of the Asiago plateau and winters are particularly mild. The microclimate is determined by the valley of Brenta, the Valsugana and is known for a continuous wind that offers dry and breezy days. The cultivated areas have a south and southwest exposure and are located on the slopes and foothills of the Bassano countryside that have a combination of volcanic and morainic soil.
The unique composition of the soil and the pleasant climate have always made this part of Veneto an ideal zone for vineyards and olive groves. The constant drive to improve quality, passion for the territory and respect for traditions and local history are the basis for winemaking that have developed through the years and have brought about the splendid vineyards that make up our territory today.
