The territory

The Vigneto Due Santi farm has its roots in Bassano del Grappa, one of the most beautiful and livable towns in the Veneto region, whose landscape is dominated by the Grappa massif and by the Alpini bridge over the Brenta river, designed by Palladio, which connects the historic center of the city to the hilly countryside that outlines the agricultural landscape of Bassano. The municipality marks the eastern limit of a precious wine-growing area in the province of Vicenza, the Doc Breganze, a land of great red wines and noble straw wines.
The territory is protected to the north by the limestone steps of the Asiago plateau, and has relatively mild and temperate winters. The particular microclimate is governed by the nearby Brenta valley, the Valsugana, and is characterized by a continuous breeze that offers plenty of dry and breezy days.
Morphologically, the cultivated areas are all exposed to the south, southwest, and are located in the hills and foothills of the Bassano countryside, where the land is made up of a happy combination of volcanic and morainic lands. The peculiar constitution of the land and the pleasant climate have always made this particular corner of the Veneto an area dedicated to the cultivation of vines and olive trees. The constant desire to improve the quality of the products, the passion for the territory and respect for local traditions and history, form the foundations of the viticulture that has developed over the last few years and which has led to the creation of the splendid vineyards that draw and characterize our landscape.
